Shift Description

• Day Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Night Call: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

• Weekend Call: 24-hour call

Weekend Requirements

• 2 weekends per month

• Multiple affiliated hospital sites

• Provider will receive privileges for all assigned locations

Dates of Coverage

• 10 days per month, covering over two weekends

• January–April, then TBD

Reason for Coverage

• Open position

• Training new hire

Practice & Clinical Details

• Practice Setting:

  • Office hours

  • Inpatient post-operative floor

  • ICU care

• Schedule (Shifts/Hours):

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Call Schedule:

  • 10 days of call per month

• Call Ratio:

  • 1:3

• Average Number of Patients Per Day:

  • 12

• Documentation System / EMR:

  • EPIC

• Trauma Level / Designation:

  • Level I

Provider Coverage & Autonomy

• Will APP Work Autonomously: Yes

• Supervising Physician:

  • Physician will round daily

  • Available 24/7 by phone

Required Duties

• Suture removal

• Diagnose illnesses

• Treat illnesses

• Order diagnostic tests

• Interpret test results

• Write prescriptions

• Coordination of care

• Rounding

• Pre-operative physical examinations

Patient Population

• Adult

• Geriatric

Credentialing

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:

  • 60–90 days if file is clean

  • Expedited processing will be attempted

Travel & Expense Reimbursement

The facility will reimburse for:

• Hotel

• Flight

• Rental car

 Requirements

• ANCC or AANP certification – REQUIRED

• Active Ohio license – REQUIRED

• BLS and ACLS – REQUIRED

• Relevant training and experience – REQUIRED

• 100% clean background required; no exceptions
