Emergency Department Physician (ABEM/AOBEM Board Eligible)Internal Medicine Physician (With ED Experience)Family Practice Physician (With ED Experience)Emergency Department Nurse LeadRegistered Nurses (RN)Medical Support Assistants (MSA) Prairie Band Health Services is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 1 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B). To be considered for employment with Indian Preference, documentation is required to be provided at time of applicationRequirements General Requirements are listed below per specialty Physician Board Certification Current American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) certification and documented Emergency Department experience within the last 24 months of hire. Physicians shall also have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the management of pediatric and obstetric patients, including obstetrical emergencies, such as precipitous deliveries. 3000 hours or more of clinical experience within the last 24 months of hire in an Emergency Department with an annual volume of at least 18,000 and a combined admission/transfer rate of at least 10%; OR 5000 hours or more of clinical experience within the previous 60 months of hire, and 1000 hours or more within the last 12 months in an Emergency Department with an annual volume of at least18,000 and a combined admission/transfer rate of at least 10%. Contractor ED Director – ABEM/AOBEM certified physician. A minimum of 3 years of Emergency Medicine administrative experience is required. Emergency Department experience within the last 24 months of hire. Shall also have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the management of pediatric and obstetric patients, including obstetrical emergencies, such as precipitous deliveries. ED Nurse Lead – A minimum of 3 years of Emergency Medicine administrative experience is required Nurse Practitioners/Advanced Practice Nurse (Advanced Practice Provider) – Nurse Practitioners (NPs)shall have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX); hold a current license for the advanced practice level in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. jurisdiction of licensure; and have twenty-four (24) months experience within the last thirty-six (36) months of hire working in an emergency department setting. Clinical Nurse Minimum Requirements – Clinical Nurses shall have a nationally accredited associate’s degree or baccalaureate degree in nursing; hold current licensure and certification as a registered nurse (RN); and shall have passed the NCLEX. ED RN nurse roles must be fulfilled by a nurse with at least 24 months of experience within the last 48 months of hire in the same specialty outlined in the issued task order(s). Physician Assistants (Advanced Practice Provider) – Physician Assistants (PAs) shall have a current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification and must have completed education in a training program that is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant or a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained; and Twenty-four(24) months experience within the last thirty-six (36) months of hire working in an emergency department setting. PAs working on the contract must have a physician collaborator assigned by the contractor in accordance with the provider’s state licensing requirements. Medical Support Technicians/Assistants – shall have graduated from an accredited program in medical assisting, or equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience from a formal enlisted military medical education program. If education is used to meet requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position and be approved during the candidate approval process. Medical Support Technicians/Assistants shall have 12 months of experience within the last 36 months of hire in the same clinical specialty as outlined in the issued task order(s) Must have current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) Certification of Education – copy of diploma or transcripts DEA Immunization records Ability to pass Federal Security Clearance
