Radiology Locum – Eastern Indiana | xLocums

Job Description:

Position Overview We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite locum tenens opportunity in Eastern Indiana starting August 10, 2026. This is a daytime position focused primarily on ER STAT reads with no call or weekends.

Schedule & Details

• Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8.5 hours paid including 30-min unpaid lunch)
• Volume: 50–90 exams per day (Plain films + CTs, primarily ER STATs)
• Modalities: Plain films, CT, and optional Ultrasound. No MRI, no procedures, no fluoro, no mammography.
• Support: Always 1–3 other radiologists on site — never working alone.
• No Call, No Weekends

Required Dates (must be able to cover most blocks):

• Aug 10–14
• Aug 24–28
• Sept 8–11 (4 days)
• Sept 21–25
• Oct 5–9
• Oct 19–23
• Nov 2–6
• Nov 23–27 (4 days)
• Nov 30–Dec 4
• Dec 21–24 (4 days)
• Dec 28–31 (4 days)

Candidate Requirements

• Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification within 5 years of residency)
• Minimum 2 years experience
• BLS required
• Flu & COVID vaccination (exemptions accepted)
• Clean background, no NPDB issues, fully credentialed
• Must attend in-person orientation (preferably Friday before start)
• Enter hours in Vemsta platform

Assignment Details

• Onsite position (not remote)
• Multiple blocks available from August through December 2026
